Call recording
Calls to the numbers on this site and on the Google Business Profile are recorded. You hear a message before the call connects. Recordings and call details are stored in the encrypted cloud of our phone system operator (Zadarma, see Recipients). Recordings are kept for 90 days, or until any dispute is resolved. The operator also keeps call details (number, date, time, length) for the period required by telecommunications law. If you do not want the call recorded, email kontakt@monterkabin.pl.
Source-specific phone numbers
Different numbers may appear in different places (this website, Google, ads, leaflets). They all reach us and let us see where enquiries come from without asking you. This is not linked to any advertising profile.
Recipients
Rafał, who does the work, receives what he needs to quote and carry out the job: name, phone, job address and bathroom photos.
Our phone system operator, the Zadarma group (EU representative: IP Telecom Bulgaria LTD, Burgas, Bulgaria), handles our numbers, calls and recordings as a processor on our behalf under a data processing agreement. It stores data in the European Union, but within its group and through its sub-processors (including Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services) it may transfer data to the United Kingdom, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection, and to the USA on the basis of the safeguards required by the GDPR (Chapter V), such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. We will send details of these safeguards on request.
Google, whose services (Google Sheets, Drive and Gmail on the AMO EC account) store requests from the quote form. Google may also process data in the USA. Google LLC participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection.
Beyond that, only the providers the service depends on: email provider, accountant and website hosting (Google Firebase). We do not sell data.
Retention
Data from a quote that did not lead to a job (the form request together with the photos) is deleted after 12 months. Job data is kept for the warranty and limitation period, invoice data for 5 years from the end of the tax year. Call recordings: see above.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (Prezes UODO).
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use as few as we can: there are no ads on this site, no Facebook pixel and no tracking you across other websites.
Why we use Google Analytics
The only outside tool is Google Analytics, and only if you agree to it. It shows us how many people visit, which pages are useful and how often someone calls, emails or sends the quote form, so we know what to improve. We only see totals: we do not know who you are, and we do not link this data to your request.
Your choice
On your first visit the site asks for your consent. You can:
- click Accept all to turn statistics on;
- click Essential only, and the site works as normal with statistics off;
- click Show categories, decide for yourself and save your choice.
Until you choose, statistics stay off. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent takes effect straight away but does not affect what was collected before. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will ask you again.
If you do not agree to statistics, Google Analytics sets no cookies. The site then sends Google only an anonymous signal with no identifier (this is how Google consent mode works), which Google uses to estimate overall traffic. If you do not want even that, you can block Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Which cookies we set
| Cookie | What for | How long |
|---|---|---|
amoec_consent | remembers your choice so the site does not ask on every visit | 3 years |
amoec_uid | a random browser number that links your choice to later visits; set only once you choose | 3 years |
_ga, _ga_… | Google Analytics, only after you agree to Statistics | up to 2 years |
The first two are strictly necessary: without them the site cannot remember your decision. So that we can show what consent was given, each decision (the random number, date and choice) is stored in a consent register on Google Cloud servers in the European Union. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google may also process this data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis for statistics is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The quote form sends your details without cookies.
