Why enclosures leak
- Silicone applied inside the enclosure. Water gets behind the profile and cannot get out.
- Tray not level. Water pools against the profile instead of running to the drain.
- Worn door seals. They harden after a few years.
- Leaking trap or drain. Invisible from above, straight into the ceiling below.
- Cracked tray. Usually thin acrylic supported only on feet.
